National Cub Carnival and Shapla Cub Award Ceremony Inaugurated by Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus

The National Cub Carnival and Shapla Cub Award Distribution Ceremony, organized by Bangladesh Scouts, was inaugurated today at 11:30 AM at the Office of the Chief Adviser. The event was graced by Professor Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser of Bangladesh Scouts, as the chief guest.
In his inspiring speech to the young Cub Scouts, Professor Yunus said:
“Scouting is not just about discipline—it is a lifelong education that builds honest, courageous, and socially responsible individuals. I firmly believe today’s Cubs will grow up to be the future leaders of our nation.”
He further emphasized the importance of nurturing human values, leadership qualities, and a spirit of volunteerism among children through scouting activities.
The Shapla Cub Award, considered the highest recognition for Cub Scouts in Bangladesh, was awarded to selected participants from various districts across the country. These awards celebrate excellence in leadership, discipline, and social service among young Scouts.
The event began with vibrant cultural performances by the Cub Scouts, followed by the much-anticipated award distribution. The lively participation of children made the event joyous and energetic.
Senior officials from Bangladesh Scouts, divisional representatives, trainers, and parents were present to witness the event. Speakers at the program highlighted the pivotal role of scouting in shaping the next generation of responsible citizens. They praised the efforts of Cub Scouts and encouraged them to continue their journey with dedication and passion.
The ceremony concluded with the national anthem, marking a proud moment for all attendees.
